Mixing Your Henna: What are those small dots?

Two common question we receive from new brow artists as well as beauticians who are well equipped in the industry:
1. How to properly mix the brow henna to an ideal consistency?
2. Is it normal to see some white or brown "dots" or balls in the powder?

First of all, yes, it's totally is normal! Because you are tinting with natural henna, it obviously comes from the plant and those are simply the seeds! This is nothing to be concerned about and if you continue to mix the solution, you will notice that it will eventually dissolve. The little "bubbles" or seeds will not interfere with the henna tinting itself, so not to worry. Just give it a good mix around and you're good to go.

Also, when mixing henna with our Eucalyptus Developer, make sure you are measuring the correct ratio based on our manual that you receive with your products. Once you give it a good mix, you will notice that the consistency will be just right: not too runny, not too thick. However some beauticians prefer a thicker substance, other prefer a thinner substance, what works best for you could only be found by trial and error. Once you finish mixing the correct amount, you need to leave the solution for a few minutes to fully develop and thicken slightly. That's when you can start to apply the tint into the brow and skin, then the solution is "settled" and ready for application.
