What is a SNAP Gel Brow Tint?

Snap Gel Brow Tint is a game-changer. It’s a gel brow tint you can use on all your clients - even those with PPD allergies or sensitive skin. The magic? It’s completely PPD-free, making it one of the safest eyebrow tinting options on the market.
But what really sets it apart is the texture and speed.

SNAP has a smooth gel formula that glides on easily and comes in five versatile shades. And it works fast. Like, really fast. The pigment absorbs into the skin in seconds, leaving behind a bold, defined stain.

That’s why we call it SNAP - because you’ll get flawless results in a snap. Trust us, you’ve never worked with a tint like this before.

The difference of eyebrow dye and brow gel tint

We like to think of our new brow gel tint as the ultimate Plan B, or actually, the new Plan A - for clients who can’t tolerate Brow Henna or Liquid Dye with Keratin. When those products cause irritation, SNAP Gel Brow Tint is your gentle go-to. And if you're wondering what eyebrow tint do professionals use for sensitive clients? This is it.
So, what’s the difference?

  • Brow Henna deeply stains both skin and brow hairs and is known for its long-lasting, defined results - but may not be suitable for sensitive skin types because of PPD.
  • Liquid Dye with Keratin is loved for its nourishing power, deep stain and compatibility with Brow Lamination, but still contains PPD to activate color.
  • SNAP brow gel tint is different - it’s a PPD-free eyebrow gel tint that stains only the skin, with a super quick, gel-based formula. It’s gentle, fast, and perfect for allergy-prone clients. Also, you don’t need any developers! SNAP works immediately and without any need for mixing.

The formula and results are not the only difference between regular dye and SNAP. The difference is also in the way you apply it. Let’s go over the steps together!

How to use eyebrow gel tint

Using SNAP Gel Brow Tint is quick and easy - just how you like it. But before you jump into the application, don’t skip the patch test! Even though SNAP is designed to be extra gentle, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Once you’ve patch tested (watch here how to do patch test for Brow Henna, it works the same way!), follow these steps for flawless results every time:

  1. Prep & Clean
Start with clean, dry, oil-free brows. Use the Pro Cleanser and Prep Peel Gel to remove any leftover makeup or sebum - this helps the tint stick better to the skin.
  2. Shake & Apply
Shake the tube well! Remove the plastic tip fully, or cut off half so the gel flows easily. Use about 4–5 drops or 1 cm of product and apply it directly in the desired brow shape. But remember, SNAP works immediately!
  3. Soften the front
For a natural ombré effect, gently remove the front part of the brow after a few seconds. This gives you that soft, faded beginning and a bold tail.
  4. Let it absorb
Leave SNAP on for 20 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on how intense you want the stain to be. Want a bold look? Just leave it and don’t remove it - SNAP absorbs completely into the skin without needing removal. If the color ends up too intense, no worries - use Color Corrector to tone it down. It’s your life-saver!

Eyebrow gel tint color range

Let’s look at the 5 beautiful colors of SNAP:

Auburn Snap Brow Gel Tint

A rich, warm reddish-brown tone - ideal for redheads, strawberry blondes, and clients with copper undertones in their hair. Auburn adds warmth and definition without looking too bold, making it perfect for natural red hues or enhancing faded Brow Henna results.

Light Brown Snap Brow Gel Tint

A soft, neutral light brown for blondes, light brunettes, or mature clients who want a subtle tint. This is your go-to for clients with lighter brow hairs or those who prefer a natural, everyday brow look without too much intensity.

Medium Brown Snap Brow Gel Tint

The most universal shade in the SNAP collection. Medium Brown is perfect for medium brunettes or anyone with light to medium brown hair who wants more definition. It’s the ideal balance of warmth and depth for most clients.

Dark Brown Snap Brow Gel Tint

A deep brown with a warm undertone - ideal for dark brunettes, tanned complexions, or clients who want a more defined, bold result. It adds intensity while still looking natural and soft on the skin.

Black Snap Brow Gel Tint

Our darkest color for black-haired clients, deep skin tones, or those who love a high-contrast brow. This shade delivers the boldest result, yet thanks to the warm undertone, it won’t turn grey or ashy on the skin. It’s perfect for clients who want maximum definition and drama.

How to choose the best shade of brow gel tint

When working with SNAP Gel Brow Tint, there’s one key thing to keep in mind: It only tints the skin - not the brow hairs. That means choosing the right shade is all about matching the client’s natural brow hair color as closely as possible.

Here’s how to get it right:

  • Look at the root color of the brow hairs, not just the ends or overall shape.
  • Choose a shade that blends naturally with the hair color.
  • For a bolder effect, go one shade darker - but always make sure it still complements the hair tone.
  • When in doubt, start lighter. You can always build more intensity with layering or adjust with Color Corrector.

Choosing the right color is what turns a good result into a flawless one. Trust your eye!
