Brow Lamination is a two-step chemical process:

That is why choosing the right styling technique during application is so vital!
PRO TIP: Never forget Step No. 3! While Steps 1 and 2 reshape and lock the hair, Step No. 3 is non-negotiable for long-term brow health. Skipping Step 3 leaves cuticles open and vulnerable to extreme dryness, brittleness, and breakage. 1. The Brushed-Up Technique (The Classic Fluffy Brow)
The Brushed-Up technique, often popularized and known as the "Soap Brow" or high-fashion editorial look, is the style that originally launched the global lamination craze. This technique focuses on brushing the brow hairs vertically at a sharp 80º to 90º angle from the inner corner all the way across the body to the tail.

Pro Application Protocol:
When applying Step No. 1, use a silicone applicator or spoolie to guide the hairs straight up. When setting with Step No. 2, press the hairs flat against the skin using cling wrap or a brow lifting tool.
Stylist tip: Never bend the very tips of long brow hairs over at a sharp $90º angle along the top perimeter. If the tips fold over, they will develop a permanent crimp that looks frizzy as the natural hair grows out. Keep the tips straight!

The goal: Clean symmetry, effortless daily manageability, and a neat, polished arch that looks naturally perfect.

Best candidate: First-time lamination clients, mature clients, male brow clients, or corporate professionals who want low-maintenance brows without obvious styling.

Pro Application Protocol:
Analyze the client's natural hair growth direction before applying any solution. During Step No. 1 and Step No. 2, gently lift the hairs slightly upward (30º to 45º angle) just enough to cover sparse gaps and smooth out cross-growing strands, but follow the natural trajectory of the hair follicles. You are optimizing their existing hair architecture, not forcing a new one.
Stylist tip: Stick to lower chemical processing times for a natural look. Fine hairs may only require 4 to 5 minutes per step. Over-processing fine hairs when aiming for a soft style can result in unwanted flattening.
