Affordability and profitability

Setting the right prices in your brow salon can feel like a balancing act. On one side, you want your services to remain accessible and attractive to clients. On the other hand, your pricing must support a profitable, sustainable business. So hard

The key is finding the sweet spot between affordability and profitability.

In 2026, many Brow Artists across the United States are revisiting their pricing strategies. Costs are rising, clients are investing more in beauty services, and the brow industry continues to evolve with new techniques, products, and education.

Before we dive into our 2026 pricing research across the U.S., let’s go over a few essential things to consider before deciding on your treatment prices.

1. Know your costs, don’t be cheap

Before you adjust your prices, you need to understand exactly what a treatment costs you.

This includes more than just the product used during the service. Think about:

  • treatment products
  • tools and equipment
  • rent and utilities
  • booking software
  • marketing expenses
  • taxes
  • your professional time and expertise

Once you know your real costs, you can determine the minimum price needed to cover expenses and still generate a healthy profit.

One common mistake new Brow Artists make is pricing too low because they are afraid of losing clients. But remember: clients who value professional work will gladly pay for quality treatments and expert results.

Example: Every Brow Lamination & Lash Lift Glaze Starter Kit can perform up to 40 treatments. That means the product cost per treatment is roughly $3.20.

This shows that the product itself is only a small part of the treatment price  your skill, time, and salon experience are what truly create the value.

2. Do your homework on your competitors

Find out what your competitors are charging for similar services, so you can figure out a fair price that won't break the bank for your customers. Notice that Brow Artists with more experience tend to charge more than new starters, this is a factor you need to take into consideration as well.

But every brow babe is unique in their own way, just like you! So don't just copy their prices, make sure you're offering something unique and valuable.

In fact, we helped you with your 'homework' already! We interviewed tons of Brow Artists across the US to get an average on price for different brow services. We have splitted the data into the east/west U.S. Even though you still need to dig a bit deeper in your own hood, you have something to start with!

Key Insights From the 2026 Brow Artist Survey

  • Many Brow Artists plan to increase prices in 2026. Several respondents mentioned raising prices by 5–10%, while others plan to increase services by $5–$10 per treatment.
  • Some Brow Artists have not raised prices for years. One artist mentioned they hadn’t increased their prices in four years, which shows how common it is to delay price adjustments in the beauty industry.
  • Brow Lamination prices vary widely across the U.S. In our survey, prices ranged from about $55 to $95, depending on city and salon positioning.
  • Brow Lamination + Hybrid Dye is becoming a premium service. Several artists reported charging $90–$110 for Brow Lamination combined with tint.
  • Hybrid brow services are typically priced between $30 and $60, showing that this treatment continues to grow in popularity while staying accessible for clients.
  • Brow shaping still remains an accessible service, with prices ranging from $10 to $30 in many cities.

3. Make your services worth the penny

Clients want to feel like they are getting real value for their money. If your service delivers beautiful results, a comfortable experience, and professional expertise, clients will happily pay higher prices.

Think about ways you can elevate your service, such as:

  • offering detailed consultations
  • using premium brow products
  • providing aftercare advice
  • sharing before-and-after results
  • creating a relaxing salon environment

When you combine excellent technique with a great client experience, your treatments become more than just a service - they become an experience clients want to return to.

And of course, education plays a huge role in this. Investing in new techniques and advanced training helps you stand out from competitors and justify higher pricing.

4. Create different pricing tiers

Another strategy many successful salons use is tiered pricing. This allows you to attract different types of clients while increasing your average service value.

  1. Option: Pricing Based on Experience

Some salons offer treatments performed by: Junior Brow Artist and Senior Brow Artist. This gives clients flexibility while allowing experienced artists to charge more for their expertise.

  2. Option 2: Service Packages

Another popular option is creating service bundles. For example: Brow Lamination + Hybrid Dye

Packages often increase the average spend per client while offering clients more value. Just remember to keep your menu clear and simple. Too many options can overwhelm clients (yes, decision fatigue is real!).

5. Occasional promotions and discounts

Who doesn't love a good deal? Promotions and discounts are effective ways to attract new customers and retain existing ones that haven’t booked a brow treatment for a while. But don't go too overboard with the discounts or you'll end up giving away your profits.

We call it the ‘NA-KD effect’: When you give promotions too often, like the fashion brand NA-KD is doing, it would almost be stupid for your customers to pay the full price, since there's a discount going on almost all the time. You end up with customers that are not willing to pay the full price anymore. Make sure you keep that balance!
