Details

Brow mapping paste is used to create the desired map for the perfect eyebrow shape and to create symmetry for treatments like Brow Henna, Brow tint and Hybrid Dye. By adding brow paste into your brow routine, you can create the perfect canvas for brow dye later on.

It directly makes it visible which hairs belong within the right parameters of the desired brow shape. This makes the shaping process way easier. The paste also works as a barrier for Henna, Dye, or Tint, so you know for sure you will have super sharp lines after application.

In our hunt for the perfect, smooth eyebrow mapping paste, we researched for an ingredient that could add a nourishing effect as well: Aloe Vera.

Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is the superwoman of natural ingredients. It calms, soothes, and hydrates the skin, and is full of vitamins and amino acids. It's known for its skin-healing properties and is the perfect skin moisturizer ingredient. It will give some extra love to the skin around the eyebrows, which can be needed before waxing, tweezing, or threading.

Ingredients

Petrolatum, Titanium Dioxide, Paraffinum Liquidum, C18-36 Acid Triglyceride, Laureth-4, MIPA-Laureth Sulfate, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil.

How to use it

Apply a small amount of brow mapping paste with a Medium Angled Brow Brush or Concealer Brush along the contour of the desired eyebrow shape. Repeat on the other brow, and make sure you create symmetry by also using Mapping String. Leave the eyebrow and the skin that needs to be tinted empty, so the paste can work as a barrier.

You can use the brow mapping paste in multiple ways to achieve flawless eyebrows:

Option 1: Simple bottom line
The first way of using the white brow paste is just by creating a simple thin line at the bottom of the brows. This brings more clarity for you as a Brow Artist to know where to start your application. And this line helps you to be more precise and consistent, as you will always have the same starting point. Resulting in a super crisp bottom line.

Option 2: Map the entire brow
Another way you can use the Brow Mapping Paste is by mapping the entire brow, including the brow arch. Most Brow Artists start their brow mapping with Mapping String. Once finished with the outline, you can use the brow Mapping paste to sketch out the exact parameters of the brows. Now, no matter where you start your henna, dye or tint application, you know for sure the end result will be sharp, as you’re working inside these shapes and the paste will work as a barrier. It also shows you directly which hairs you have to remove with shaping.

Option 3: Highlighter the eyebrows
Finally, the Supercilium brow paste is used as a highlighter for the brows. When the brows are done, you can use a very small amount of brow paste on the bottom line to highlight the results and make the brows stand out even more.

FAQs

1. What is the main purpose of the Brow Paste?
Supercilium Brow Paste serves a dual purpose as both a high-definition contouring tool and a chemical barrier. It allows brow artists to sketch and map out the client's perfect, symmetrical brow shape prior to a treatment. Once applied, its thick, impermeable texture acts as a protective shield, preventing hybrid dyes, brow henna, or tints from bleeding outside your lines, ensuring a crisp, immaculate baseline.

2. How does using Brow Paste improve treatment efficiency and conversion?
Mapping with Brow Paste elevates the entire client experience by visualizing the final shape before any permanent pigment is applied. This eliminates client anxiety and acts as an in-chair consultation tool to get their approval first. For the artist, it acts as a physical guide—allowing you to work faster and stamp your dyes with absolute confidence, knowing your crisp edges are locked in place.

3. Will the Brow Paste interfere with the skin stain or hair dye?
Not if applied correctly. Because the paste has a heavy, wax-based consistency, it creates a complete block wherever it touches the skin. It is designed to sit strictly around the intended brow shape, not inside it. As long as you keep your internal canvas clean and sharp using a precision brush, your Liquid Dye or Henna will develop flawlessly on the exposed skin without any interference.

4. What is the best technique to achieve razor-sharp lines with Brow Paste?
The Routine: Use a firm, flat mapping brush (like our Concealer Brush) and coat both sides evenly with a small amount of paste. Smooth out any clumps on the back of your hand. Drag the brush in smooth, continuous lines along your mapped string boundaries, keeping the inner edge razor-sharp and feathering the outer edge downward onto the skin for a clean look.

5. How easy is it to remove the Brow Paste at the end of a service?
Despite its highly stable, non-smudge formula during the treatment, our Brow Paste is engineered to break down effortlessly when exposed to moisture. Once your dye or henna processing time is complete, simply take a clean, damp cotton pad and wipe the paste away in a gentle upward motion. It lifts completely without leaving a greasy residue, white film, or clogged pores.

6. Can it be used alongside Brow Lamination services?
Yes, but timing is key. You should never apply Brow Paste before or during the chemical lifting steps (Solution No. 1 and No. 2), as it will block the solutions from processing the hair. The ideal workflow is to perform your full Brow Glaze (Lamination) service first. Once the hairs are set and nourished, use the Brow Paste to map out the fresh geometry before applying your post-lamination hybrid tint.
